Really intricate design and 3d print on this formlabs sample piece. Excited to experiment with casting jewelry at home again. These ring samples from formlabs were 3d printed with their lastest castable wax resin. I’m really curious to see how cleanly they burn out compared to the previous castable resin.

With this work flow it was much easier to transfer on to fabric. Transfering one color at a time was causing issues with alignment due to warping and shrinking in between presses. But this workflow mitigates that. Overall an improvement.

Vinyl pieces transferred, aligned, and stacked. You could transfer on to one large sheet as well. This work flow allows you to prep designs ahead of time and pull it out when you need to heat press it on to a new garment. This process is better suited for small/customized designs than mass production.

Experimenting with clear vinyl transfer tape to transfer, align, and stack the vinyl pieces into one sheet before applying to fabric. It worked very well. Way better to align on this than on fabric itself.
